"Luring the Rouge"

Pirate's Tale:

Rouge is my own special 17th Century French pirate. He got his name from a woman who couldn't read English too well. She meant to call him a "Rogue" because he's a playfully mischievous scoundrel.
But looking at her French to English dictionary, she ended up with "Rouge," which suited him just fine because he makes all the wenches and ladies alike, blush!

I made this as a **gift art** (sorta entry, not really) for my university (Go UF Gators!) roomie, Keira, who started her own Romance Novel Review Website after graduation, called "Love Romance Passion."
Find it here ([link])

She opened a contest for November where you had to make a romance novel cover. Rules are simple, the guy has to be someone you know, must do your own photo editing, he has to be wearing a white shirt, name your novel and give a short background if you wish.

So there you go!

Resources:

All editing done in Adobe Photoshop CS2 (I haven't opened my CS4 yet). Regular point and shoot camera, no idea which one or type was used to take Kev's picture, just know it was digital, obviously.

Model -- my special "lion of the mountain Kevieee" (no, you may not have his phone number and yes he really is French). Kev was Jack Sparrow for Halloween two years ago :)
